You should edit the original post to reflect that $3500 is for 2 divers, 2-tank boat dives/day.

Hi. It does sound amazing but it's difficult to get there. When you went, did you dive elsewhere as well? What route did you take to get there?

I spent nearly three weeks in Palau and dove only there on that trip. Acquired way too much video to try a second destination! Speaking of video, I've put low res versions of my HD video from that trip on my YouTube channel: DrBillBushing

I flew with China Airlines to Palau with a layover in Taiwan. They had a great DEMA rate at the time (under $1,000 RT from L.A.)

Hi. I would love to but can't figure out how. I've been searching for how to edit the original post. Any idea where I go? I don't find this site very intuitive.

I guess it's too late to do it now. If you just posted it in a day or two, you should be able to edit it by tapping Menu at the bottom of your post & select edit. However after a few days, that option is removed. Then you may want to ask moderator to help you.

BTW, I have mentioned your ad to my dive club on Wednesday, the 11th. Hopefully you get some inquiries.

You said: "....but I'm unable to go by the date it must be used which is December 17, 2017". Does that mean the package can be used any time between now and December 17 or it has to be used only on December 17?

Hey. It can be used anytime between now and December 17, 2017. I spoke with the hotel and other than around Christmas and New Year's they had availability the rest of the year. I think we should just bite the bullet and make things happen so we can go because I for one, will likely regret it. It's also tough to get there. After much searching it looks like the best bet from Boston is to fly to Singapore, then to Indonesia (not sure where), back to Singapore, then to Koror, back to Singapore then Boston.

You don't need to go through Singapore. That'll waste a lot of flight time. It's better to go through Honolulu or Tokyo then to Guam & Koror.

The best route I have looked is using United Airlines for $1673 / person for roundtrip.

As an example:
UA449 Boston 12/1 7:30a - Chicago 12/1 9:30a
UA881 Chicago 12/1 12:00p - Tokyo 12/2 4:30p
UA197 Tokyo 12/2 5:25p - Guam 12/3 10:15p
UA157 Guam 12/3 8:00p - Koror 12/3 9:10p
UA186 Koror 12/10 12:20a - Guam 12/10 5:02a
UA200 Guam 12/9 6:25p - Honolulu 12/9 6:25p
UA383 Honolulu 12/9 9:00p - Denver 12/10 6:46a
UA1122 Denver 12/10 8:05a - Boston 2:07p

We'll only be in Palau for a week and will go to Indonesia for a couple or Indonesia first depending on price/route. When I looked at doing the flights through Singapore the actual travel time was much less and cost about $1600

I see. You want to do Indonesia & Palau, the whole shebang in one trip. I plan to do Indonesia in November & Palau in December.

I just bought a roundtrip flight with Singapore Airlines for November from Houston to Denpasar via Manchester & Singapore for $688.
