I purchased an auction for a 7 night vacation with 5 days of two tank diving valued at $3500. The diving is with Sam's Tours and I have a friend that dove with them and said they were great and the diving was amazing! Please let me know if you have any questions. It would be an awesome trip but I'm unable to go by the date it must be used which is December 17, 2017. Details are below. If interested you can email directly at kat.viaggio@gmail.com

One thing to note is that Palau government requires all visitors to have a permit for all water activities. The permit costs are as follows:

PLEASE READ:
· Palau Marine Law requires each diver must have a surface marker buoy (safety sausage) with them every time they dive.
· For safety reasons, guests who have not been diving for 2 years or more are required to do a refresher course prior to diving with Sam's Tours.
· We strongly advise guests to complete the refresher course prior to arrival in Palau.
· We no longer have DIN tanks. For guests with DIN regulator, we supply DIN adaptors for free.

Thank you. I'm new to this site and from what I could see Indonesia was the closest. I asked whoever runs this site and didn't get a response.

No question Palau has some of the best diving I've ever done

Hi. It does sound amazing but it's difficult to get there. When you went, did you dive elsewhere as well? What route did you take to get there?

I'm going there for Dec 24-31, 2017 liveaboard trip (4 dives/day x 6 days) with Palau Aggressor II for about the same price, but with $500 discount if you book it by January 15.

The best & cheapest ($1552 roundtrip) flight from my home seems to be offered by United Airlines:
UA007 Houston (IAH) - Tokyo (NRT)
UA197 Tokyo (NRT) - Guam (GUM)
UA157 Guam (GUM) - Koror (RIR)

If you leave on Friday, you'll arrive on Sunday. The liveaboard operates from Sunday to Sunday.

Please tell me that's per person and not for two?!

Yeah. I've seen those. I'll bet they're awesome but a bit pricey. Have you done other liveaboards?

Just came back from Galápagos last week with Galápagos Master. Also about 3 times in Komodo & twice in Raja Ampat. That's the way to go diving in those places.
