But the V12s are actual rubber and not the same as most fins.That is why I wanted to see how the H2O paint worked as it says it is designed for use on rubber. As soon as the fin bent the paint cracked and fell off, not pretty....

Worked on mine! I also tried "American Tradition Plastic Enamel" by Velspar and the results were bad - it cracked when dry. Fusion bonds quite well and doesn't crack.
