The Tec Deep is the older style course.

That still used to consist of differing levels Tec Basics, Tec Deep Level 1 and Tec Deep.

Being handed that master diver card sounds sort of like exchanging tickets at Chuck e Cheese's for a toy.

Sure, for a minute all of the other kids at the counter might think it's cool, but when you get home it'll just be another crappy toy.:)

I got the MSD card just to add it to my collection of cards, I had 9 specialities at the time. I consider it $50 well spent :rofl3:.

A short feedback about what seems to be the end of the story. I did the TEC40, 45 & 50 in the same time, what they call the TEC DEEP DIVER course. So I'll receive just one card for the 3 courses, and thus I can't apply for the MSD in this case the 3 courses count only for one. Isn't it funny?

About the course, that was a very very nice course. 9 awesome days...

Ah man... thats what I did. So I only get 1 card out of my 9 days of lugging twinsets around when i could have gotten 4 cards! (Tec 40,45,50 and MSD those 3 would have given me on top of my deep and nitrox). I'm out 3 whole cards, i'll have to go do a boat diver speciality and project aware specialties now.

But isn't it true that the card will get you laid in some bars in Thailand? Along with a $50 bill tied around it? That would seem to make it worth it.
