If you care about getting frequent flyer miles, you might want to check with American Airlines and Fiji Airlines (or whatever airline you're flying to get to LAX) to see if they have your frequent flyer number input in their systems. Some of us checked today and needed to give both airlines our numbers. If you have an AAdvantage number (American Airlines frequent flyer program) you can get miles on both American and Fiji Air.
