With El Nino crazy things have been happening. My wife and I have found seven different seahorses in Southern California plus a couple of longnose puffers. This video has four of the seahorses, plus the puffers and lots of other critters. Filmed with GoPro hero 3+. Most footage was captured with a macromate mini.

Nice footage. Certainly has been an interesting two years in southern California. Four seahorses that I know of here off Catalina in the last year

Nice footage. The shrimp seemed to be keeping everybody busy. It looked like there was a pretty active surge, how deep was most of the footage shot?

I LOVED that video. Just gorgeous!

I especially loved the crab with the roof over her head. She looks suspicious, like she's not sure if it's going to eat her.

As an FYI for anyone that didn't know, the "roof" is actually a living sand dollar. I had another clip of one moving across the sand. The sand dollar will capture plankton with their tiny spines

Phil posted the other video earlier in the week. Our weekly Wednesday night Veterans Park group really enjoyed the vid. Particularly the fact that you capture the feeding behavior of the critters. Thank you!

This past Wednesday night, two divers saw two of the puffer fish. The seahorses seem to be everywhere now...what's next?
