Bought the Oxycheq (45#) wing about a month ago. Only had a chance to dive it once so far. Nice wing.

Right now I am helping one of my friends look for a new wing setup for him. One thing I have been noticing as I help him is that most of the harness rigs have 5 D-Rigs on them (2 on the shoulder, 2 on the waist, and 1 on the crotch strap).

When I received my Wing from Oxycheq, it only has 3 D-Rings. Two on the shoulders and one of the crotch strap.

For you other Oxycheck wing owners.... How many did yours come with???? Just curious if I need to give Patrick a call.

Thanks for your help!

Well, first of all, my wing from Oxycheq has NO d-rings on it...
maybe you got a special one. You should be lucky you got three on yours!!!

Now, if you are talkin about the HARNESS, then YES, it should have five drings as your described. GIve Patrick a call next week (he's at DEMA this week) and let him know you got robbed...

He'll take care of you...

Mine had none, but I just ordered the wings and put it (them) on my Halcyon B/P, which has Five D rings.

Not quite....

2 on the Shoulders
1 on the left waist
2 on the crotch strap -- one in front, one in back.

Here's one link you can probably find more...

Depends on who you talk to...

Set it up however you feel comfortable...

I use a dring on my right side...

My hot mix goes there. I dont use two stages on the left side. I dont care if I am not DIR... Shoot me. That works for <ME> and thats whats important. BTW, all my dive buddies dive the same way as me.

Please dont start a flame war about this. You do it however you want, and let me dive however I want...

Well, its right there on the right side, behind the dring... No issues...

I guess its all in what you are used to. I trained for technical diving with IANTD/ TDI not GUE.

So your canister slides over the d-ring without getting hung up then..right?
Maybe a bit of a PITA, but since the right side has no buckle, you COULD slide the canister on then mount the D-ring.

At that point, the canister is not ditchable, but I really have no plans to ditch a $1200 light.
