We're feeling the norte down here too. I love it! It's nice to not be all sweaty and shiny for a change!
 
We had a cool, wet summer here on the usually hot, dry high desert, and although we don't get measurable snow every year, we've already had a 12 inch one. I'm worried about winter.

Maybe this would be a good year to become a migrating snowbird? :D
