Does your Dad dive as well? Diving in Seattle area has to be cold water diving like it is here in Mich. I also read alot, last year I read 25 books, and I enjoy civil war books. Have you read the Shaara trilogy? I have recently bought the new Shaara book about the Alamo - all the important Civil War generals were officers in the American army, yet I would comment that one of the main characters is Lee.

Have you Civil War buffs read/heard/seen media on the raising of the Huntly, the Confederate Submarine that was raised recently? I read the book-on-tape & was amazed at what could have made a great chapter in American History textbooks.
 
Have any of you noticed the amount of NEW ship wrecks being discovered??? like the PT 109 that was most recent... these ships all played a part in history and it is nice to know that they are no longer lost...
