Can I assume that all s. florida ocean diving is warm water? I need to decide which wetsuit to bring, and if I don't need a 7mm with hood, then so much the better!

Not far from me at all. Ive never been in the water with them before but I like giving new boats a chance. As far as a wet suit goes I have been wearing a 2mm shorty for a month and thats what ill be wearing on the dive.
 
I'll reiterate some of the previous suggestions.

I dove with A1A last Wednesday. The Capt took me out even though I was the only diver to show up. Namely because I had drove down from Orlando.

Take the turn pike it's well worth the $10.70 to make the run.

I dove Epcot on Tuesday. $140 for 45 minutes in the water. I enjoyed it.
