I have very poor vision and was wondering about a mask with pop-in/pop-out optical lenses versus a mask that has my prescription ground into it. What experience do any of you have with this? Thanks for your advice.

I bought a scuba max mask, and was able to have a LDS change out the lenses with prescription lenses and they gave me back the originals. I had an oceanic mask before this set up the same way, but I believe some idiot stole it at lake rawlings. the lenses cost about 30 bucks a piece.

I'm wearing contacts. This is until I get laser eye surgery done.

I also have my perscription in my mask. Works good for me.

That would be great! right now it's still a bit off in the future...but I have heard so much good that it's gotta be the way to go. Do you already have an appointment?

You won't appreciuate their choice in when they pop out.

Get prescription lenses. I use flat top bifocals, so I can see the sites and my guages, both - pretty important.
