oh yea, hate it when that happens. I was taking General Gene Renuareuex (sp) and his wife Jill on a VIP tour of Ko-ko crater and I was on the inside buoy and thought I was on the outside bouy, and well.... a little 180 degree mistake. We swam and swam through "Underwater Siberia". When we got back on the boat after seeing nothing, NADA, he winked and said "we will let that our be little secret". At least I did not try and climb on the wrong boat with them. Still trying to live that one down and it was three years ago.

I thought it spoke well of him as a leader not to feel the need to demean me!!
He does try to catch me with that "coining" thing the Army does. For awhile, I kept one in my booty at all times, because I would get "coined" underwater and having to buy all the beer for that crowd could break the bank.

Hey, are the Renuart's still here? Gene and Jill are really nice people. The best thing is is that he doesn't throw his rank he around and she doesn't act like a snooty officer wife. Not that rank matters while diving, but since he was diving through the military base dive shop he could have been a little weird about it. Anyways, hope the rain stays away so we can get some diving in this coming week.
