Has is occurred to anyone that the OP was certified in August of this year and has <25 dives...and is asking about tech training?
The first post should have told him to wait a long time, get a lot of experience, then possibly think about it later on. That's it -- thread closed. No need for anything else.

Page one...last line of my original reply to the OP:

'Good luck on your research and learning....from your bio you are still a ways out from tech...'

:eyebrow:

Nothing wrong with PADI's Deep Diver Specialty.......in content it is basically pretty good for what it is,,,and if well taught can be a benefit to a new diver.

Alan...remember that PM earlier about me being onto something? Here's more proof! :rofl3:

The blind leading the lame.

Cool

I read this earlier....and like all of us we are entitled to your oppions on different classes....this is one divers experience retold. The course has good information in it for a diver whom is just getting into 'deeper' diving....whether from shore or boat. Most of us whom are at the level in diving that we are doing deco diving probably during our course of study and class progression took such a course. Its a stepping stone whether it is a PADI or NAUI of SSI class....it is of good value.

Good point.

I only gawk at the profiles of the lady divers here. Not the guys. So I missed that.
