I would just tape it up with some electrical tape and forget about it...As long as you will not use the reg in any place where you might really need it to deliver air.

like.... under water???

A low pressure hose failure can cause some serious stress on a diver , especially if it's at the first stage where it can't be seen. if you've ever seen/heard an LP hose go, you know what I'm saying. It's LOUD, and is followed by a massive rush of bubbles, and will drain a tank pretty quick. even if it's just a quick ascent to the surface, this could easily cause serious panic, and it's just as easy for a panicked diver to drown in 20ft of water as 80.

if you are questioning the hose, it means you should probably replace it.

Manufacturing defect. Seek a replacement from the regulator or hose manufacturer.

I would change the hose...no need to add unnecessary risk from equipment.

It's just a hose for god's sake, not much money vs inconvenience, worry, possible accident, or worse. REPLACE THE THING!

Where did you get that hose? All hoses I sell come with a 3 yr ltd warranty. The dealer should replace it if it's less than 6 months old and only ten dives. Unless there are obvious signs of abuse -tool marks, serious tears, teeth marks (human or otherwise) I would just have you send it back for a replacement.

Got the hose from Dive Gear Express and they swapped it out w/o question. Very good customer support by them. The hose was less than 2 months.
