Open Water Cert - Suggestions

Hi, I will be taking a cruise in a couple of weeks and will be completing my open water dives on a couple of the islands. I plan on completing open water 1 & 2 in Puerto Rico and then 3 & 4 in St Thomas. Does anyone have any suggestions as to Dive Centers that I can complete this training? I see on the PADI site there are plenty of centers but I was wondering if anyone has had personal experiences with any of these centers?

I don't have any suggestions about dive training centers, but since you will be using more than one instructor on your check out dives, be sure to obtain (and retain) all supporting documentation that you successfully completed your dives. This way if something goes sideways at PADI's processing office (e.g. they don't get a required form from one of the instructors), you have a copy of your own you can send to them.

For your time on STT. Chris Sawyer dive! Chris Sawyer dive! Chris Sawyer dive! They're not the easiest to schudel with, but their instructors are worth it. Coki Beach Dive Club is decent IF you go with Peter. Do not deal with Admirality Dive or Underwater Sarfi's at all! Your cruise ship may suggest these two since they're both pretty close to the WICO (cruise ship) dock. St Thomas Dive Club, never dealt with them so other than saying never heard anything bad (or good) about them...can't help out much.
