Do they have a web page at all? Where are the cottages and how many do they sleep?

Thanks

You'll love Brockville. We dove out of there last year with AbucS and had a blast.

I am not sure about the cotteges due to the fact i live close to brockville. But I do know that the cottege are right at the boat launch. I think there is 3 or 4 of them. I am sure if you call the 1800 number i posted they will let you know. I am not sure on a site either because they have a shop in ottawa and i just go to the shop to book. Sorry I could not help you out more.

Thanks for the info - it's good to have another option up there. We'll give them a call.

I've stayed at a few places in the area but my favourite would be Headlands Motel, Thousand Islands Parkway at Rockport. They're very considerate and diver friendly. Very clean rooms, almost newly renovated. http://www.headlandsmotel.com/

Another geat place is Bridge Island Motel, Thousand Islands Parkway at Mallorytown Road. Also very diver friendly. They have many small cabins of varying sizes. http://www.realontario.ca/listings/listing.asp?id=9724

There's also Caiger's Motel on Thousand Islands Parkway just West of Mallorytown Road, never stayed there though.

These are all within about 15-20 minutes of Brockville, 5-10 minutes to Caiger's Marina (Wayne Green http://www.islanddiver.ca/) and 5-10 minutes to Rockport (Jeff Pauze http://www.1000island.net/~andress/diveshop.html)

There's also a couple of places to camp if you'd like to save a few $. http://www.campsource.ca/parks/default.aspx?parkid=4148

I've stayed at Caigers. It is ok. Very handy if you are diving from Wayne Green's boat.

There are a few rooms at Peck's marina.

There are also dozens of bed and breakfast places in the area. Do a web search to find them. Actually I think the city of Brockville's web site has a list of accomodations and links to them.
