Scuba Duffer once bubbled...
Anyone know a good online site for Atomic reg purchases other than Leisure Pro?

Please spare me the online vs LDS stuff.

With LP out of stock for "months to come", I spent an inordinate amount of time on this and was unsuccessful.

I was eventually able to work the phones to find a retailer within long-but-credible driving distance that would (after bargaining) get within about $20 of LP, and then (after several stops) a local shop that would match that.

Ive spent a ton of time looking - NOTHING. Boy, Atomic must really enforce their no net policy strictly. Lots of other companies have similiar ploicies - but you can find their stuff online everywhere. The problem for me is there is only 1 LDS in this entire area that carries them (according to Atomics dealer list). They are about 60 miles from my house.

With all this in mind, I think I may have to pass on Atomic. I'm having a hard time finding someone I like to deal - what's gonna happen when I need service (as someone pointed out).

I agree in that if you are having this much
trouble finding an Atomics dealer, you will
just as much trouble servicing the regulator.
BTW Atomics warranty does not include
parts whereas most other regulators do.
Just something to keep in mind.

I am lucky enough to be located where I am at
most 40 minutes from any major reg dealer.
Not all of us are so lucky so I would suggest
buying a regulator you can get serviced easily
in your area (unless you plan to service them yourself).

I was looking to buy the M1 but ran into the same thing you did. LP had no idea when they would have stock and the LDS, forget it way too expensive. I went back to Apex, already have one and it's been an excellent reg. You can buy Apex regs on line all day long.
