I am looking at buying a drysuit and have been doing some research. O'Neill has stock sizes that fit my 6'5" and 160 lb. figure, and reasonably priced. I am wondering if anyone dives the 3mm specialist drysuit. It is compressed neoprene and I haven't seen much of it around. I am interested in this suit, but wanted some of your thoughts on it before I dropped a few dollars.

Also, will the compressed 3mm keep me warm in 35 degree water? I'm planning some dives at clear lake in Oregon.

Here is the link to the suit. Thanks everyone.

As long as the suit fits you rather close, you don't want a lot of extra air space around you, then go for it. I would try it on before I bought it though, I wouldn't count on their sizing chart by any means. It looks like they show some of their undergarments under the suit, and that will be what is going to keep you warm in 35 degree water. I have also heard of wearing a wet suit (3mm) under the dry suit when getting down in frigid temps like that.
