You're gonna lose your key!!!! It's inevitable
Yes. Yes you will...

I use my old dog tags and put a car key on there. It goes under the underwear on my dry suit and if the metal chain ever breaks it is real easy to find in the boot. Plus, if bad things happen and I am unconscious I have my name, ID# and blood group etched on there too. Should add a DAN tag on there as well while I am thinking about it...

P.S. In my pocket I plan to carry, depending on dive, back-up mask, wetnotes, spool/SMB, mirror/whistle, extra double ender and car key.

If this were a poll, I would choose the right side! :D That's a lot of stuff in one pocket unless you get the paper thin wetnotes. I put my whistle and mirror in my wetnotes.

You could also put the carkey on a wrist lanyard, around your wrist, and under your wetsuit. Some wetsuits also have a keypocket sewn into them.
