My husband's DSS BP/W came today! The SS backplate, 8 lb weight plates (already attached, bless their hearts), and Torus wing.

I told him I get to watch while he figures out how to weave the harness. He just grinned snidely. He knows he's going on a business trip Wednesday, and I won't be able to stand having the thing sitting there unassembled, so it will be put together by the time he gets home.

Backplate and wing, longish hose, and can light . . . I think I'm making progress :)

One small step for mankind. One giant leap for hubby. ;)

Are you going to go with the crossed strap or straight straps for him?

Marriage does wonders for assimilation....

Jaye is on the same slippery slope.

First, 2 years ago: The Can light.

A year ago: A longish (thanks, Lynne) hose.

Belize last summer: Started diving the Jets, chucked the splits for good.

This summer: Tossed the airsource for a proper octo and moved to a BP/W (the OMS Comfort Harness w/buckle release. She's got her left fin in, and her right fin out...) BTW - She LOVES the BP/W.

Next up is pockets on her Drysuit.

Bit by tiny bit...

You know, you could cut the webbing in several places and add quick releases for him. That might make him feel better. ;)

Remember, he's a man, so don't make him admit anything. In fact, some day he'll have to remind you that he thought this all up himself.

Tell him he needs to sell the horses and purchase twin scooters with a spare battery pack for each of them. George's are classic, and Rodney's are nice:

Peter knows that deep down he wants to stop cleaning stalls and give in to the dark side!

Take the rest of the fundage and head for Cave courses down in Mexico!

:D

Resistance is futile ... especially when you're married ... :D
