i started diving in 89 and dive 2-3 times a week in the summer months and still really enjoy it.i am based in northern ireland about 20 miles from belfast.
i work in a fabrication shop as a welder.i own a boat with my brother who also dives and we spend the summer fishing, diving and working lobsterpots in our spare time.
we do a lot of scallop diving as this helps pay for the boats expences
i learned to dive in the local harbour with a reg +bottle that i borrowed from a friend, but i polished my skills by doing a PADI owd course in belfast!!!

Welcome!!

i have a dacor 760xlb which has given me sterling since i bought it in 1990,i have tried other regs but i liked the dacor too much to change, but when i left it in for service recently i was told that parts are no longer available!!!i asked the tech what i should with my beloved dacor and he suggested using it as a paperwieght!!!
someone somewhere must keep parts for these older dacors as i looked on ebay and there was loads of them for sale,or maybe thats why they are for sale!!
Anyway can anyone help??i have checked out a few new regs and they are like toys compared to the dacor and life can be hard for gear aboard a working boat like ours.
If anyone can help PLEASE let me know
