Passing hydro,vip and eddy is one thing... getting a fill is another.

We have a chain of shops here in the PNW that will not fill any aluminum tanks manufactured before 1989 regardless of manufacturer... period. Now I know that doesn't make sense but standing out in the parking lot waving your hands and yelling until your are red in the face doesn't make any sense either.

So... make sure you can get fills resonably close to where you live or dive.

I have one of them older "Dangerous" tanks. I took my to Elite Divers in Denville, NJ. They had the VIP + done and filled the tank. This was done about a month or two ago. Denville isn't that far from Hoboken if you can't find anyone there to fill it.
