For wrist mounted wireless computers do you prefer it on the left (BC inflator side) or the right, right being my dominant hand.

Any advantages/disadvantages? I have the Uwatec Aladain Smart Tec. Just switched from a console.

Right side, whether wireless or not. This leaves the left hand free to operate the Inflator/deflator buttons and butt dump, while monitoring depth/time on your right arm. Wrist compass goes on the left, to keep it away from any magnetic bits of the computer (yes, the computer case is plastic or stainless steel, but what's inside it often isn't). If wireless, having it on the right side also means putting the transmitter on the same side, which allows you to keep a mechanical SPG on a hose on your left if you choose, either clipped off to your left hip D-ring or routed along your corrugated hose, as the case may be.

Left side.......just like my wrist watch......

Basically I keep my camera or dive light in my right hand.....

For night dives I can easily shine the light on the computer....

I like mine on the right, for two reasons. One is that I can watch my gauge while I use my inflator, and the other is that I carry my light in my left hand, which makes it easy to illuminate the gauge on my right. (Of course, nowadays, I use a Liquivision, which makes the second thing moot.)

Right, because left hand is often busy with light, inflator, SPG or purges.

It doesn't makes a big difference.

So far I seem to be in the minority........:shocked2:

Greetings Sonic04GT and I run my computer on the right either when using just one or both. Most of the reasons afore mentioned are why I like it there and I have found it to be easier when task loading with deco gas and or stage bottles on the left side.
Now that I have gotten used to the right hand placement it is annoying to use my old recreational dive rig with my consul on the left. It will not be long till it is passed down to one of my kids. That being said try it both ways to see what works best for you, but the left hand is very important while managing buoyancy.
Good luck and experiment safely.
CamG Keep diving....keep training....keep learning!

Computer on the right, compass on the left, for reasons already mentioned.

All gauges on my left.
