Has anyone inspected one of these in the shop? Or perhaps actually used one?

The e-mail I recieved advertising this regulator said if I liked Apeks, I'd LOVE this one. However, none of my local shops carry it yet.

I'm curious what the opinion is. Does the cover come off easily? Is it truly as easy to breathe as they say? Can I breathe it upside down?

OMS has not yet released the reg out on the market. they arestill fine tuning the piston version, and the diaphragm version later. I may have a chance to try one out this summer though. I will let you know. Supposed tome comparable with WOB of a poseidon.

The 'prototypes' are theonly ones that have apparantly leaked out into field testing.
