Good afternoon,
I've got 2 OMS dive masks as shown below in the picture.
I like 'm a lot the only downfall for me is the connection between the mask band holder (plastic part) to the silicone of the mask skirt itself.
Its mounted with a small diameter stainless steel pin without any locking mechanism. Just a straight trough pin with minimal support and just the correct lenght
I "broke" the connection several times while donning the mask, luckily finding the pin in the mask and able to continue the dive after sticking the pin back in.
Does anyone have an idea in how to fix this problem? A longer pin will be difficult as its close to the skirt and damaging it makes the mask useless.
Sorry can't post pictures of the mask and the "problem" as I'm on board a tanker and have no access to my divegear the upcoming month.
Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Bas
