What's the frequency of white whales beaching themselves like that? I'm not familiar with this species doing those sorts of things.
 
I guess it just makes my experience ever more special for me. I'm sad to say that I sort of expected this outcome but it doesn't make it any easier. I don't know what else to say.
 
That's really sad. I never saw Poco, but it was good to know he was out there.
 
That sucks. What a shame. Nice keepsake picture of the whale and diver, though.

Report says he died of natural causes. Enlarged lymph nodes and a swollen esophagus makes them think he may have had an infection. Poor guy. Dieing alone and just a little guy.
