Olive II

Many of you remember Olive ... the octopus at Cove 2 three years back. We kept close watch on her for months, till her eggs hatched and she finally died.

There's another "momma" octopus in the same den ... looking like she's on about the same cycle (which means her eggs should hatch late summer/early autumn). Here's a picture that Cheng took on Sunday of Olive II.

We can use this thread to follow her progress ... and hopefully capture a picture of one of her offspring as they hatch.
