Old Ford Island Ferry Artificial Reef?

The Wikoliana Education Excursions has been working hard to clean up the Moko Holo Hele for sinking. Eight volunteers where present (including some of the Friends of Kaimana Divers).

On going task is striping and removing personal items off the ferry. For Saturday we filled up 4 roll off dumpers and approx 3 truck loads of give away items to Goodwill. Metal items were place in recycle bins.

I believe next Saturday (7th) will be another work day. Many hands make light work. ~John Heywood

There is not an official website for sinking the ferry (Moko Holo Hele), but if you Facebook Wikoliana Educational Excursions, there is some info and picture of the work completed so far.
