OK... What does it all mean?

Not that I don't know what all these acronyms mean, because I do, I know everything!

But for those here who don't know what they mean, can we spell it out?

Example: I thought I knew what DIR stood for, which of course is Diving In Redundancy... NOPE! It's Doing It Right, but I had to go look it up on my own ;-0 - So what do you say, a little help here?
