Hmm.....after two years of complaining about paying $50 for a day of diving and one night of camping at Ginnie Springs...... Let me put it this way: I start there April 29th, the day after my last final at UCF, and two weeks after the Megadive.

(and then, June 2-5 I get to be tortured by Rich Courtney, hopefully earning a cavern and intro to cave certification in the end!)


As usual, I'll bring a giant cooler chock full of ice, and batteries+inverters to run some lights, DVD players for the kids, and to charge NiMH battery packs.

Not to stay on the food thing but I know we are eating breakfast and I got the hamburgers Ken is bringing.

What should I bring for dinner or even lunch? I will be coming with my 8 and 10 year old who are small (thin) but can graze like a horses sometimes.

If you don't want to pack food for all your meals, Ginnie has a deli and there are several good eateries in town.

Wiki suggests that you try apples and carrots to get on their good side, seaweed and alfalfa. Apples and carrots can be found in many local stores, you can get a bundle of alfalfa from one of the many feed stores, but seaweed I suggest you bring with you.
