Odd trim problem - Make me a better diver

...there is a reason all of the "DIR Diver" pictures you see have their hands out in front of them. It helps greatly at countering heavy feet.

Placing the arms and hands out in front definitely has the effect of counteracting heavy feet, but it's primarily because devices are in/on the hands/wrists as well as constantly monitored. Computers, dive light on a goodman handle, DPV, etc.

You might also notice that for divers who maintain constant trim, their trim is maintained no matter what a diver is doing or where their hands are. Trim isn't dependent on the hands.
