Thanks to a post by Ian Uhalt, we hit the barge this morning and weren't disappointed. We had the same conditions - at least 25' vis opened up under the dark green middle-layer. We visited Phil's triple octopus patch to check on the eggs.

Phil misses his rig so much that I generously let him take one shot with mine:

Very nice octopus shots. I used to take octopus sightings for granted here, but I haven't seen an octopus in a month!!!

Very nice photos. Thanks

That's more Octopus in 1 day than I have seen on all of my dive days put together! Very nice.

I have never seen one of the small octopuses on eggs . . . I'm really enjoying your photographs of them. I also really like the sea pansy pictures.

Great octopus shots. I also like the tiny sea hare! How cool are they?

I am soooo envious of the octo nests you and Phil see and photograph. I have yet to find one (but have several sequences of them making whoopie).

Great series! I've never seen Sea pansy polyps so magnified. Very cool! Love the tiny sea hare as well.
