Jeano Beano
(Like I should talk...) :11:

It's not looking good for me- my car is not working right & needs to go into the shop. (sigh) I'm trying to figure out an angle 'cause 've really been looking forward to this :crying:

Workin' on it! Hopefully she can still make it, and we can carpool.

Anyone want to ride with me?

Rages onward!!!!
By Friday I will have the follwing items covered for the weekend;
plates, cups, plasticware, napkins/paper towels
Chicken Leg Quarters, Smores stuff, some breakfast stuff for Sat/Sun
A spare megatent, spare blankets, plenty of guest room

Needed for the event:
Oak wood for cooking fires/campfires
Charcoal
Side items for meals
drinks (non-alcoholic)
alcoholic drinks if ya want 'em
snack stuff

Dinner Friday will be a fend for yourself evening, but I have confirmation that there MAY be something brought in for dinner. If everyone wants to make Friday night a potluck dinner, this would be great. I will be spending the day/evening running around like a squirrel crossing an interstate in Miami at high noon!

I will be looking at prices for pumpkins locally for carving contests.

I'll bring a half dozen 2 liters and 3-4 bags of chips to the event.

Looking forward to this weekend :D

Ken what time you getting there on Firday ?
We plan on getting there about 10-11 am on Friday to help.
We are bringing Sidedish : potatoe salad and extra hambergers & hotdogs including buns and plates also.
We also will have extra Breakfast stuff to share.
AFTER THE SUNRISE DIVE JENNY :D

DSW, did you get much rain up there? Considering the viz in the river 2 weekends ago, I was hopeful that it would be clear enough to drift dive next weekend, but a really heavy rainfall might squash that idea.

Oh yes, considering that you will be running across an interstate (in Miami) holding a rabid squirrel, at high noon, how do you plan on being present in the evening, even without factoring in the high probability of subsequent arrest & mental evaluation by liscenced pshyciatrists?

I have to drop H off at work at 7 am, so my morning starts after that. I should be there around 9 or so. I need to drop tent gear and get that started, then head out for the rest of stuff. Later in the evening, I'll need to pick up the wife at work, and then I'll be onsite for the whole weekend as she will have the car. I probably won't lave site for the second run until about noon.

As for rain, we got quite a bit, but I'm not sure how riviz iz.

Now, as for the squirrel incident, (having been MISQUOTED by scubafool)
The phrase was LIKE a squirrel not CARRYING a squirrel. The ramifications of such behaviour in light of the "Columbian River Otter Manifesto for Rodentiary Safety and Preservation of Civil Rights" having been signed by the "Marmot Union of North American Prairie Canines" (now a politically CORRECT union), as well as the time differential regardless of such ramifications, or ethical issues, would be horrendous. Although, even if I were delayed by suh an event, I could always travel through subspace, thereby negating the time unit equation, if I simply utilise the African Swallow Hyperdrive. Considering that the African Swallow has a 5% variation in gradual speed increase over the Northern European Swallow.
Also note to scubafool, the word ("misquoted", is not a typo for the wrod mosquitoed)

We now return you to your delayed gratification of the attendance of the next upcoming megadive.
