Any time that I hook up a large piece of equipment that is rotation sensitive, there is always a directional arrow on the motor or driven equipment. If not, a call to the manufacturer is in order. Air compressors are no different and the Bauer unit I hooked up locally had an arrow for rotation. Seems to me that the direction should have been confirmed before either jogging the unit or putting it into a run mode.
