I have an OCi and love it, but the wrist band has become an issue. The pin that holds it together has come loose twice. I heard Oceanic was looking in to new bands anyone know?

This is the band I've wanted. Though it's been on the Oceanic website for a long time, it's never been available and in stock. I asked for auto-notification for availability and have never gotten a response from Oceanic ATOM/GEO WRISTBAND, BK/TI

They do offer a stock replacement. As I already have used my band extension for parts, I may need to buy one if it breaks again

I've just got my brand new OCi through the post and it won't turn on. Any ideas why..? Literally nothing happening. My partner got one too and his has switched straight on. Wondering if there's another way to get it switched out of deep sleep or if I'm going to have to send it back (Bit of a pain because I need it by next wednesday!!)

I know this is an aged thread, but I am posting this as a possible solution to this issue for future OCi/OC1 owners.
After calling Oceanic's outstanding Customer Service, I learned that Oceanic ships their DC's in "sleep mode" to preserve the battery life while the DC is sitting in LDS inventory. When purchased, all the end-user needs to do to awaken from the sleep mode is press and hold the "Select" and "Advance" buttons simultaneously for a few seconds. It worked for me!

Hey GameChanger,

Thanks for the bit of info. I just got my new OCi last week, and was worried that it too was dead. I ended up holding ALL the buttons down and it turned on.

Edit,
I was going to ask if you could put the watch back into Sleep Mode. The wonders of the answered for me. Only the Manufacture can put it back into Sleep.
