I own an Oceanic Data Plus 2... It's a solid computer, but I'm not wild about the displays... The icons are a bit confusing, and just what the numbers are supposed to be indicating isn't always intuitive.

Reading the documentation solved the problem - but the documentation was rather confusing as well. You have to take it slow and work at it.

Highs: Bar graphs for N, O2 loading and ascent rate.
Lows: non-intuitive icons and numbers which don't have
obvious meanings.

The Oceanic Data Plus 2 was my first computer - I've since purchased a UWATEC Aladin Pro Nitrox and relegated the DP2 to backup duty.

If I buy the Oceanic Data Plus 2 Navcon, with gauge and compass, am I correct in assuming I get the dive computer, the airpressure gauge and the compass? Im assuming I will not geet a separate analog depth gauge since the computer will be telling me that, correct?

The bottom line is that I dont like the idea of a wrist computer, but would rather go with an integrated boot/console that will house a air/nitrox capable computer, compass and other required relevant gauges all in one (ie. the less separate components the better is the way I feel).

Apart from Oceanic, and the other names mentioned here, what other brands that have this integrated system should I check out? Thanks!
