Oahu or Maui

shore dives are out of the question for me since I am a solo traveler and don't want to go through the trials of trying to find buddies to dive with. Diving with the group on a boat like in Cozumel works best

Just because you are rollin solo doesn't mean you can't shore dive. Find some people here on the board and if their schedule synchs up with yours I'm sure they would show you around our shore dive sites.

Depending on when you are here it's pretty easy to just rent a few tanks and head out to one of the local spots (E Beach or the Cove). If it's a weekend, I'm sure you can strike up a conversation with some fellow divers and tag along...... we are a pretty friendly bunch!
