sorry guys, I cant make it. I will be in sunny Florida. ok before you call me an A$$, I have a bad cold, so may not end up diving.

I have a kerosene heater you could leave up on shore and hover around after the dive :)

Last nite (Tue) went on a night dive in Marblehead. The water temp was 52 at the surface. We both dove wet for about an hour and was fine untill we had to get out of everything. Starting to get a little chilly for the wetsuit thing. I think I just about have the wife broken down to let me buy a drysuit though :)

I'll only be diving one tank, because I'm not about to stand around in a wetsuit in that weather, but I'll be diving wet... the water's still nice enough.

Scubadent once bubbled...
plan on diving wetsuits this weekend? (Aaron?)

My drysuit is still on the LDS showroom.

Im still considering whether a post dive exit into 35 degree air with a wetsuit on is completely insane or just short of insane for a scuba-holic.
:bonk:

After some deliberation, I decided not to brave the elements. I gave my gear their final washes and it is stored away until my next WARM water dive which should be in Nov. in the Bahamas if all goes as planned. But I would be up for getting together nonetheless. Should we plan a rondevous in any event? I prefer to drive out that way and make a day of it instead of just go out for the evening festivities......

I'll be there at 10 one way or another with my equipment. Will probably decide on the spot if I want to dive or not. I'd like to do at least one more dive this season, but if it's too cold and there's no van ;), I may just watch the bubbles. So I'll need company lest I get bored. They're forecasting 40 and windy right now. Hmm....

What else starts with "W"?

The water's going to be nice, and you can always put on warm clothes after the dive. I'm going to bring a gallon of warm water for pouring in my suit AFTER the dive before I change, and I'm probably going to throw a heat pack in my bag with the clothes.

I think I can put up with a minute of toweling off warm water in cold air to get a dive in... I hope I'm not the only one planning to.

C'mon notabob... you can do it!

Unless it is really rough out there, I'll dive. I really do want to get one more in...
