By the way, if you want to do some deep recreational sites better than Goa in India you should visit Pondicherry. Bobbyp10 has a great operation setup there ... surfing and diving. He will not take people he does not know deeper than 40 metres or on blue water dives, but there are some great sites in the 30 - 40 metre range. One of his divemasters is the Indian freediving champion.

ah thank you - i could not find it last time - now i know and it will make planning easier.
we're trying to setup a reef survey (for possible holiday dive sites) in Chennai for next off season if your interested, we could not pull it together this year due to the owner dragging his feet on the overall project.
