Not Allowed to Use Thank You function...???

Sometimes I can click the Thanks button on someone's post, but most of the time I get this message:

JoyfulNoise, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to be allowed to click the Thank You button and thank members for their posts?​

It is also disabled from showing up now. In other words we can now no longer see how many thanks have been given or received.

Nope.

It's on your User Profile, the Statistics tab.

Yup.

It was, until recently, showing up in the poster's profile window in the threads.

It only does so if you're using the ScubaBoard Classic style.

You can select your style by using the Quick Style Chooser in the bottom left corner of each page.

I changed from the classic style to the scubaboard blue but still don't see that anymore. It's not important though. Thanks for responding with helpful intentions

If you use the ScubaBoard Classic style, you should be seeing Thanks Stats on each post.

Example post please?

I'm not sure how to post an example.

I am reading posts and see a post I find very helpful. I go to click the button to Thank and I get the error I posted. It says I am not allowed access.

But I'm glad the count was solved. It's not a biggie, it happens after I do a few thank yous. Sometimes I can thank, sometimes I get the error.

Sorry, I'm not very tech savvy, I am not very smart when it comes to different forum things (on any forum...not just this one)...I'm trying to figure it all out and I appreciate your help.
