Come join the North Texas Retailers Association at Texas Love & War @ Plano Parkway and 75 from 4 PM - 7 PM December 8th. Your $5 entrance fee will go to support the North Texas Food Bank. There will be delicious
hor-d'euvres and a cash bar to wet your whistle.
Travel specialists from Australia and Mexico will be there as well as new 2008 great scuba gear that will be given away from many manufacturers like Scubapro, Atomic, Stahlsac, Henderson, Sea Dive, Aqua Lung, Sea Quest, Deep See, Mares, Sea & Sea, Tusa, Mares and many more.
For just a $5 ticket or 5/$20 you can enter a raffle to become eligible to win a trip for two to Australia provided by Dive Travel Specialist Sara Hawthorne, Down Under Answers and Reef Encounter of Australia. All raffle proceeds benefit the North Texas Food Bank!

Is an advance ticket necessary, or is this just a 'show up if you can' event? I'm interested I think.
 
Thanks. Driven by the place all the time (on the way to that nice little French Bistro where the waitresses wear orange shorts, "Le Chateau de Hoote" :wink: ) but never been in. Heard from a friend of mine who plays drums in a band there occasionally that they've got good grub.
 
So, how was the Christmas Party? I had to work last Saturday, or else I might have tried to come out to it.

The party was a blast. Even though I'm from Austin, I had the good fortune to attend with a good friend who instructs for one of the DFW shops. Lots of raffle prizes, snacks, and cold beer. Some lucky couple won a trip to Austrailia! :santa3:
