@jag, big thanks! would really appreciate that, basta di lang makaabala :)

Those are IST F1 fins. They are copies of the turtle fins. Divers Point in San Juan Metro Manila. 027253631.

Since were on the subject on equipment... My need is finding a wetsuit for a short fatman. 5'8" with alot of beer experience, 45 waist and wt is 248.5 lbs. I seem to fit in someXL for the height but not the gut,or xxxxl for the gut but not the height...you see what I mean. I wish I could take a grizzly suit and shrink it some how. Once you stop LOL can you guide me to short fat people(Chubby?) suits for cold water. I want at least a 7mm. I bought an XL one on Ebay thinking that they were sized like tshirts.. didn't work. I did like the insulation, kind of a red fuzz. Before I buy another can anyone suggest a decent place that carries something for my size. Okay, go ahead n LoL. Thanks
Audie

The solution is a custom wetsuit. Though I would suggest you consider a SEMI-DRYSUIT if not a DRY-SUIT if your prerequisite is "at least 7mm". The price difference , however, between that of SD or DS over that of a wetsuit may be substantial. But I think a SD or DS would have the advantage of greater comfort and ease of use.

Where do you dive that's so cold?

I got to try a friend's Rondines and they're stiff. Only for those with strong legs. Check out TUSA Imprex Tri-Ex (good reviews) too (Scuba World).

@everyone

thanks for all the thoughts guys... :wink: these are my choices so far...

Fins: ScubaPro Jet Fins, Black Medium 64.95@Leisurepro - the Apollo Bio Splits would have been my first choice since I've read great reviews about it, but are quite expensive @ 150+, i'll get spring strap locally also.

Suit: Might just buy locally so I can fit them... and for argument's sake, how bout this one (and yes, i'm still getting a full suit)

Jag, where do you buy the spring straps over there? They seem to be cheaper there, I might get a pair.
www.scubastoponline.com hehehehehe

seriously, PM gordon (twomixdiver), he's got 2 or 3 different spring straps in the shop so don't know w/c one you want... he'll be able to also give you the final price

PS
and i'm of the "support-your-LDS" mindset, especially in the philippines where shipping from the US will cost you an arm and a leg anyway
