The media jumped on this from day one and blew it way out of proportion. They deserve to be sued for economic losses just as BP should have to pay for ecological ones. It is my estimation that the media, coupled with mindless hysteria, have cost Florida far more than we could calculate.

It wasn't just the media. Look at the person who started this thread. What should be done to fear mongers like her?
 
teach them how to analyze Nitrox tanks? :idk:

Don't be silly mike. Nitrox is nitrox, it doesn't matter which blend...and the tanks are over there...next to the heaps and heaps of oil and tar balls all over the Keys.

I agree with Jim: nothing needs to be done but a simple correction. No need to escalate animosity, and hopefully they have learned something in the process.
