After completing TDI Deco and Advanced Nitrox, I am left to wonder what this talk about "all that math" is about. I hear this a lot from people, and personally, I almost flunked out of my math classes in high school, but honestly -if so many people seem to be unable to deal with the kinds of calculations necessary for technical diving, how do they balance their check books or figure out the tip at a restaurant?

LOL yeah it's not all that hard. I let vplanner do most of the work now anyway :D You can get crazy with some of the stuff, but no need to really. Except maybe for when you are first learning this stuff and figuring out how it all came about.

The most complicated maths is working out your gas consumption & requirements, and that's hardly rocket science.
