No Deco limits on deep (~100') double dips

36% is a pretty hot mix for 95 feet. Have dove those wrecks and it is too easy for novice divers to find themselves in the sand. If you have ever seen a diver tox out on a hot mix it is gruesome.

1.4? Is hot? Or because there's a chance to go deeper?
 
Never even heard of someone toxing out on a recreational dive much less seen it. Never seen anyone tox on a deco dive even on hot mixes, riding high P02 up on a RB and decoing on 02.
I do know of people dying on the wrong mix deep but they were well in excess of 3.0 by the time they hit depth.

Recreational dives with sudden change in currents can go sideways easily especially in the Florida Keys. There have been multiple anecdotal reports of oxygen toxicity threshold being altered by benign OTC and RX medications. I have seen it happen in North Florida Caves and believe me it is gruesome. Go with a lighter mix and dive safely.

At a ppo2 of 1.4?

Any links to the incidents?
 
Yeah, I just don't think there is anything other than anecdotal evidence. Oxtox is not high on the causal scale for incidents involving the OPs parameters. Human error is probably 90+%
Agencies have previously used 2.0 and 1.6 with 1.4 for working dives and I don't recall divers falling out the sky then either.
I'm more worried about DON over time from hot mixes.

I’ve not heard about DON risk with hot mixes, just a DCS complication.

It was obscure, and of course I never saved it. I'll look around and report back.
I started looking back when the WKRP guys were running down 80% and 32% primarily to confirm the assertion that nitrogen metabolized somehow into nitric acid and that caused coagulation and subsequently osteonecrosis when capillaries were clogged on hip and shoulder joints. It turned out it seems that 02 was the culprit. Of course these are at extreme exposures but at 400 dives a year average I was concerned.
