Yep, attachedHow about a pic?
If it’s not a DIY setup then maybe try turning it using a wrench to discover if it opens a release valve …That collar in the middle with the knurling doesn't rotate?
This is the safest approach but still not safe. Please stand to the side as you do this and WEAR GLASSES!!! It's not safe no matter how you do this.I'd turn the gas off, wrap a towel around the gauge (so if it pops off it is protected) put a wrench on the right arrow nut to stabilize it, and slowly undo the spg at the left arrow. When it starts hissing, stop and let it hiss until the hissing stops, then undo it a bit more until the hissing starts again. Repeat until loose.

Yep for all intents and purposes this is the setup. A photo is attached somewhere in the threadSounds like the OP is in a dangerous situation with a safety hazard at hand… on the other hand looks like a common tool to read pressure directly off the tank …

There must be a pressure release mechanism somewhere in the setup…
Is the knurled part a quick disconnect? Then just remove the male part und use a punch or similar to carefully depress the valve in the female part.Appreciate the input. Hopefully everyone sees that picture (it must have not attached the first time around) — here’s the pic again. So far it sounds like most solutions involve what we were thinking as well…
…slowly unscrew some part with a wrench (covered and away from potential areas that won’t handle well against the potential impact of a 3000 psi bullet) until pressure releases
For emphasis, try this first. That collar in the middle with the knurling doesn't rotate?
