I am going on a liveaboard and I have been told that I should dive Nitrox during a liveaboard because of the multiply dives. I would love to hear from anyone that has experience with this.
Thanks

I've never dived a liveaboard, but Nitrox diving would make sense. It will reduce your over all nitrogen exposure which will only be good if your making multiple daily dives. You just gotta be real careful on your dive planning and depth limits.
I assume your certified? If not, it's a great course to do, and highly recommend it.

I think it's a good idea, and they often give you a good flat rate for the trip, rather than charging by the tank. If you're not already Nitrox cert, it's a good place to do it.

It might be better to be certified before the trip, that way you wont have to worry about doing courses and study while on vacation, plus you'll have some experience with the dive planning.

If available I'll always use nitrox on a liveaboard.

It just makes sense.

If you can, go for it! Discount rate usually, and with the number of dives they do a day, a very prudent idea.

Otherwise, if you were to get bent, it might be a long wait until you get to a chamber.

You can probably take the nitrox class on board for cheap... Or else, if you find the right class, it's just a night or two to knock it out... If you do it with the right agency you won't even have to get wet, so it's a great winter class to take.

I've done multiple agressor and peter hughes boats - and virtually everyone was on nitrox. It's a real good idea for those types of profiles.

I tried liveaboards on air and, besides kicking my butt, almost all dives were regulated by NDLs. I now only dive Nitrox on liveaboards. I am not as tired, I never get close to NDLs, and I'm getting about 25% more bottom time on an Al 80.

Generally Nitrox is the way to go in recreational diving.
Depending on the EAN you are only allowed to go so deep. You will learn about this in class.
I always dive Nitrox if its a choice.
