i ended up just doing a couple dives early this morning at lanai lookout instead..
nize calm surf conditions.. the exit was easy as pie (cherry)
free-swimming takos and eels today.. along with a new cowrie i haven't seen before..
('will have to look it up later on this cool site my buddy made: http://www.marinelifephotography.com/ )

sherm.. maybe we could launch the rubber-ducky out of ala wai..
then meet up with catherine at the sea tiger friday..

Yes we went saturday w/sea lancers. Good time...ran into a dead end penetrating the sea tiger...good to know for next time. Played in the engine room in the YO. Jimbo took pictures...that I haven't seen yet.

JJ--sure why not. But again I am not flying into HNL until 1530ish.

Oh, I know where you mean. We should put a teeney sign there. skull and cross bones or something.

You know there is a corridor from the engine room to the fish hold with the "bent grate?" Drew tells me. The only way I have done the deep fish hold is to crawl under the grate. Kinda creepy...there is a statue way up front in that fish hold at about 1300, in the shadows, against the wall. The guy that took me, made me leave my camera behind.

You know what would be a blast? To diagram the entire wreck "cross section" and show the various compartments, rough dimensions, etc.
