Here is my 2 cents worth.....so flame away

BTW, it is a little long
Again this year the NFC will be represented in the super bowl by a team from the NFC South, thinking either the bucs or falcons.
The NFC South was the toughest division in the NFL last season, look for the division to be one of the toughest again this year. Tampa is going to be tougher with another year under Grudens system. Their defense will look to top itself from last year. Atlanta made huge progress with the addition of Price, now can he live up to the billing. Vick has a full year behind him, he should settle down more this year. Sorry saints, I don't think you can get over your end of season collapses that easily, and gutting your offensive line doesn't help you much either. Carolina is going to improve some more this year (welcome back J. Peppers), however not quite play off caliber yet.
Then NFC east is going to be represented by philly again more then likely. However I don't think they will go deep into the play offs, they lost too many key players in the offseason. The 'skins need another season for spurrier to get used to the NFL, watch out for them in '04. Dallas, they will be a 8-8 or 9-7 team, going to take the Tuna some time to get them up to his speed, again look out for them in '04. The Giants made a key offseason aquistion in getting Brian Mitchell. All and all, the Giants will have another good year.
NFC North, I think will probably be the weakest divison this year. It will more then likely be the Pack again this year for them. We all keep wondering how much longer is Farve going to be there. Chicago will do good if they can aviod injuries. If they can avoid the injury bug, look for them to play near same level as the 2001 season. Detriot, will post a 5-11 or 6-10 season, gotta give the Mooch some time to build up his roster. Minnesota has personality issues on and off the field, look for another collapse from them.
NFC West will not be that impressive this year. The division will be ok, plenty of 8-8, 9-7, and 10-6 teams, nothing to scream about. SF is going to be in transition with their new coach, Dennis Erickson, so give them some time to adjust. Seattle is a good candidate to win the division, if they can get steady play from their QB. OB's is Mike Holgreens speciality isn't it? St Louis.....well who will be the QB at the end of the season?? They are the dark horse in the division, if they stick with Warner and he meltsdown again, look for them to finish last. Arizona will be Arizona for another year, Emmitt Smith isn't going to help them that much on the field. At QB they no real clear cut successor to Plumer.
The AFC will be represented in the Super Bowl by either Tenn or Miami
The AFC East is the probably the hardest division in the NFL, lotsa quality teams there. Miami, I think has the best change to go to the Super Bowl for the AFC, they have plenty of talent, plus some good key offseason additions (Knight and Seau). Buffalo will reach the play offs, Bledsoe will have another quality year passingand Henry will post more good rushing numbers. The Jets took a beating in the offseason with free agent's leaving. They may slip a little but not to much, their defense will have a say in that. NE did a lot to improve it's defense, they may be the surprise team to win the division. Can Tommy boy play like he did 2 years ago is the question.
AFC South will improve again this year. Look for Tenn to win the division, they are still the same team as last year, very few offseason losses and The Freak is back! Indy will improve defensivly under Dungy, can the offense maintain their level of play. They don't need another injury to a key player again this year. Jax is going to have some serious power struggles at QB between Brunnell and Leftwich towards the end of the season. Look to Texas to have a good season, with some serious improvement on the O'line. Carr might not be the most sacked QB this year. However, don't look to Capers having the same second year success he had at Carolina.
Last year the AFC West was the Raiders and those other 3 teams again. I don't think that will be the case this year. First off those other teams took some serious notes during the Raider/Dolphins game and the Super Bowl on how to beat the Raiders. Hopefully Callahan finally threw away Grudens old play book. They made be old, but there is still some play in those players there in Oakland. San Diego is a serious contender to steal away the thunder from the Raider Nation. Good addition of Boston at reciever making for a complete trio on offense (Brees/Tomlinson/Boston). Denver is hoping that Plummer is the second coming of Elway. I am thinking a good year under Shannahan can polish Plummer. Just don't look for it to happen this year. Kansas City really worked over their D in the offseason. Look for them to have a pretty decent D this year. I am thinking it will be the Raider and the Bolts in the playoff for the AFC West.
AFC North is full of QB questions. Pittsburgh is my odds on favorite to the win the division, however, they are starting out with some big question marks at QB and RB. Can Maddox repeat last years success. Can the Bus handle another years abuse. Cleveland has the dueling hillbillies at QB, thinking Holcomb will be the QB at the end of the season. Baltimore might try and follow their blueprint for success of 2000 and ask the QB not to lose the game and lean on their defense. Look out Ray Lewis is back! Cincinnati looks like they might finally move out of the cellar of the NFL. Marvin Lewis is going to be the tough love coach that they need there. Watch out for the defensive to really florish under him. Lewis toughness hopefully will rub off on the offense. Cincy is my pick to be the total surprise team this season and push deep into the playoffs.
WHEW!!! what a mouthfull.....anywhoo
My prediction for the Super Bowl - an all Florida one Tampa Bay vs. Miami
