One of the captains just called: Front page of the Advertiser: Great White Photo taken on the North Shore!

Let us know if you find a link to the photo. I'm looking now. Thanks for the tip!

Sea ya!

Ya have to wonder if it's the same one that visited Molokini last winter?

well, its 18-20 ft long , Al. I watched the video and he is petting it! Guess he will be a folk hero. Amazing.

Now, Catherine... as a former resident of Catalina a great white should be a routine thing. The satellite tagging work done by the Pfleger Institute off Guadalupe Island (Mexico) indicates that great whites from there migrate to places like Hawaii and Tahiti.

It would be interesting to determine whether this is to accelerate development of the young after mating.

WOW! How cool! Did the shark adventure last year...guess we gotta go again :D

Catherine, I missed the link to the video...where is it?

justleesa,

Go to the first link I provided, it's at the top of the page.

Leesa, Look at the link or just go to the Honolulu Advertiser. Pretty cool. Now, I may lack intelligence but I know enough to keep my hands in the cage (at least until the mouth passes by).

Melissa
Happy New Year!!
